New Michael Jackson Album in the Works

Rolling Stone is reporting that a new album by late pop singer Michael Jackson is in the works. The album is composed of ten previously unreleased tracks recorded by the star over the past decades, and will include some songs from the “Bad” era that didn’t make it onto the album.

In Rolling Stone’s report, Jackson’s manager reveals that the late singer’s vaults have more than 100 songs that were complete and never saw release, and included some high-profile collaborations with Will.i.am, Akon, and Ne-Yo.

The new album is only one in a planned line of Michael Jackson projects coming within the next seven years, which also includes reissues of Jackson’s previous albums and a greatest hits album, and a DVD collection, and Ubisoft’s Michael Jackson video game planned for this year.
